Training Party
Safety education comes first. Before anyone picks up a firearm, they should know how to handle one. We bring inert training firearms to your living room so your group gets the fundamentals right — together.

We come to you
What Is a Training Party?
You wouldn't hand someone car keys without teaching them to drive. Same principle. A training party is in-home firearms safety education — the step that should come before anyone ever handles a real firearm.
You pick the date, invite 4-6 friends, and we show up with experienced instructors and inert training replicas. Everyone learns safety rules, handling fundamentals, and basic trauma care at your kitchen table. (Some people call it a Tupperware party for self-defense. We call it the right way to start.)
We built this for people who want to learn but don't want to walk into a gun range cold. Your living room removes that barrier entirely.
What You'll Learn
- The 4 universal safety rules
- Safe handling and manipulation
- Grip, stance, and sight alignment
- When NOT to use a firearm
- Emergency trauma care basics

Who It's For
Friends After a Scare
A break-in on your block. A close call in a parking lot. You don't want to live in fear, and you don't want to walk into a gun range alone. This is your first step.
The Book Club
Your reading group has been talking about personal safety for months. Now you can actually do something about it — together, at someone's house, with wine afterward.
The Couple
You and your partner have talked about home defense but neither of you knows where to start. A training party with a few neighbors makes it practical, not paranoid.
New Homeowners
You just bought a house. Maybe you're thinking about a firearm for the first time. Get the fundamentals right before you buy anything.
Community Organizations
LGBTQ+ groups, neighborhood associations, mutual aid orgs — bring practical self-defense education to your members in a setting you control.
About Our Training Firearms
Every training party uses inert firearms — non-functional replicas with no firing pin and no ability to chamber a round. Live ammunition never enters your home.
We follow the same safety protocols at your kitchen table as we would at a range. Every participant can opt out of any part of the session, no questions asked.
Common Questions
What space do I need?
+
An average-size dinner table. That's it. We need enough room for everyone to sit and handle training firearms comfortably.
How many guests should I invite?
+
4-6 people is the sweet spot. Small enough for hands-on instruction, big enough to make it a real event.
Can kids be present?
+
No. Training parties are adults only.
What if someone feels uncomfortable?
+
They can step out anytime. No pressure. Participants can sit out any part of the session — no questions asked.
Is there live ammunition involved?
+
No. We use inert training replicas — non-functional firearms with no firing pin and no ability to chamber a round. Live ammunition never enters your home.
What's the cancellation policy?
+
48-hour advance notice for a full refund. Life happens — we get it.
What happens after the party?
+
Whatever you want. Some people book a range trip. Others sign up for Handgun 101 or Defensive Pistol. Some just wanted the fundamentals and they're set. We'll help you figure out the right next step.
How do guests split the cost?
+
That's between you and your friends. Most hosts split it evenly or use Venmo. Some cover it entirely as a gift. The host's spot is always included in the flat rate.
Can I host a party if I already own a firearm?
+
Absolutely. Many hosts own firearms but have never had formal instruction. We start with safety rules regardless of experience level.
What if someone in my group has anxiety about firearms?
+
That is extremely common and exactly why this model exists. No one is ever required to handle a firearm. Participants can observe any part of the session. Our instructors are trained to read the room and move at the group's pace.
